Olivier is the founder of 51 Wines and the driving force behind our tasting programme. Originally from France, he brings an insider's knowledge of French wine culture — from the vineyards of Bordeaux to the cellars of Burgundy — alongside the warmth and expertise to make every tasting genuinely memorable. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned wine lover, Olivier has a way of making every bottle tell its story.

Our in-store sessions are kept deliberately intimate — a maximum of 12 guests — so everyone gets personal attention from Olivier and space to ask questions freely.
Yes — private and corporate tastings are held at your venue. We travel to homes, offices, village halls, and event spaces. We bring everything: wines, glassware, tasting notes, and cheese boards if required.
For in-store events we recommend booking at least a week in advance as spaces fill quickly. For private and corporate events, please allow 2–4 weeks to ensure we can tailor the experience properly.
Private tastings start from 6 guests. For smaller groups, we recommend joining one of our in-store sessions. Corporate and venue events can accommodate up to 100+ guests.
Absolutely — and you will want to. All tasting attendees receive an exclusive shop discount on the night. Many guests use tastings as a way to discover wines they then take home or send as gifts.
