Shipping Policy
1. Delivery Area
We deliver to addresses throughout mainland England, Scotland, and Wales. We are currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or overseas addresses. If you are unsure whether we deliver to your postcode, please contact us at info@51wines.uk before placing your order.

Orders placed before [insert cut-off time] on a working day will be processed the same day. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends and bank holidays, will be processed the next working day.
Delivery timescales are estimates only. We cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date, particularly during peak periods or due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. severe weather, carrier delays).
3. Age Verification at Delivery
As our products include alcohol, all deliveries are subject to age verification. The recipient must be aged 18 or over and able to provide proof of age if requested. Our couriers operate a Challenge 25 policy. If no one aged 18 or over is available to accept the delivery, the parcel may be returned to us. In such cases, we reserve the right to charge a re-delivery fee.
4. Packaging
All wine and spirits orders are carefully packed using protective wine-specific packaging to minimise the risk of damage in transit. We use sustainable packaging materials wherever possible.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. You can use the tracking link provided to monitor your delivery. If you have not received a tracking email within 2 working days of your order confirmation, please contact us at info@51wines.uk.
6. Failed Deliveries
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our courier will leave a card with instructions on how to arrange a redelivery or collect your parcel from a local depot. Please note that parcels not collected within the courier's holding period will be returned to us. In this case, we will contact you to arrange redelivery; additional delivery charges may apply.
7. Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or items are missing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@51wines.uk with photographic evidence where possible. We will investigate and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. Please refer to our Refund Policy for further details.
8. Wine Club Subscriptions
Wine Club subscription orders are dispatched on a set schedule each month. Members will be notified in advance of their dispatch date. The delivery terms above apply equally to subscription orders.
