Description
B de Boutenac is one of the flagship wines of Celliers d'Orfée, produced in the prestigious Boutenac cru, widely regarded as one of the finest terroirs in the Corbières region. The vineyards are planted on sandstone and molasse soils around the Pinada de Boutenac, where old Carignan vines thrive under the Mediterranean sun. Careful selection, low yields and barrel ageing create a wine that combines power, elegance and remarkable ageing potential. The wine has received consistent recognition for its quality, including praise from the Guide Hachette des Vins.

Olivier's Thoughts
B de Boutenac is one of those wines that shows just how serious the wines of the Corbières can be. While many people know the region for producing excellent value reds, this cuvée operates on another level. The dominance of old-vine Carignan gives it a real identity, combining rich black fruit with freshness and beautifully polished tannins.
What I particularly enjoy is its balance. There is plenty of concentration and power, yet it remains elegant and incredibly drinkable. If you enjoy Châteauneuf-du-Pape, premium Rhône blends or structured Southern French reds, this wine is a fantastic discovery. For me, it represents some of the very best value in our range for customers looking for a serious red with genuine ageing potential.
