Château Melin Cadillac 2019
Grape Variety
- 100% Sémillon
Description
Produced by the Modet family in Baurech, Château Melin Cadillac is a classic sweet white wine from the Cadillac appellation on Bordeaux's right bank. The Modet family has cultivated vineyards in the region for generations, gradually building the estate through dedication and hard work dating back to the 19th century.
Made exclusively from Sémillon, Bordeaux's noble sweet wine grape, this wine combines richness, elegance and freshness. The favourable microclimate of the Garonne Valley encourages the development of concentrated, aromatic grapes, resulting in a wine with remarkable balance between sweetness and structure.

Olivier's Thoughts
Sweet Bordeaux remains one of France's best-kept secrets, and this Cadillac is a wonderful example of why. Made entirely from Sémillon, it delivers beautiful richness and texture while retaining enough freshness to keep every sip elegant and balanced. I particularly enjoy serving it with blue cheese or foie gras, where the combination becomes truly memorable. For customers looking to discover sweet wines beyond Sauternes, Château Melin offers exceptional quality, character and value for money. It is the sort of bottle that turns people into sweet wine enthusiasts after the very first glass.
