Description
Produced by the talented winemaker Alexia Eymas, Clotilde is the flagship cuvée of Château Maison Neuve and a superb expression of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Named in tribute to a family ancestor, this wine is crafted from carefully selected parcels and aged to enhance both complexity and elegance.
The 2022 vintage benefited from exceptional sunshine and optimal ripening conditions, producing a wine of remarkable concentration while retaining freshness and balance. Rich, expressive and beautifully polished, Clotilde showcases the quality that modern Bordeaux can achieve.

Olivier's Thoughts
Clotilde is one of those wines that immediately demonstrates the ambition and talent behind Château Maison Neuve. While the estate's Sauvignon Blanc and classic reds offer exceptional value, Clotilde takes things to another level. It has the richness and generosity you would expect from a great Bordeaux, but also a polish and elegance that make every glass rewarding.
What I particularly enjoy is the addition of Malbec, which brings an extra layer of depth and spice that sets it apart from many traditional Bordeaux blends. This is a wine for those occasions when you want something a little more special—whether shared around a dinner table, paired with a fine meal, or simply enjoyed by the fireplace. For me, it represents some of the very best that Château Maison Neuve has to offer.
