Domaine Les Pierres Écrites – Les Pierres en Bulles Brut Nature
Grape Variety
- 100% Chenin Blanc
Description
Produced in the Montlouis-sur-Loire appellation by Coralie and Anthony Rassin, Les Pierres en Bulles is a beautifully pure expression of Loire Valley Chenin Blanc. Crafted using traditional bottle fermentation and relying solely on the natural sugars of the grape for the secondary fermentation, this Brut Nature sparkling wine is made with minimal intervention and no dosage at disgorgement. The result is a sparkling wine that highlights the minerality, freshness and precision of the Montlouis terroir.

Olivier's Thoughts
This is exactly the sort of sparkling wine that reminds people how exceptional Chenin Blanc can be. If you enjoy grower Champagne or premium Crémant, this offers a similarly artisan approach but with a distinctive Loire identity. The lack of dosage gives it incredible purity, allowing the fruit and mineral character to shine through without distraction. It's crisp, elegant and wonderfully gastronomic. A brilliant alternative to Champagne for those looking to discover something a little different while staying firmly rooted in French craftsmanship.
