- Grenache Blanc
- Grenache Gris

Traditional white grape varieties of Roussillon, perfectly suited to the production of aged Vin Doux Naturel.
Description
Produced in the sun-drenched Roussillon region of Southern France, Rivesaltes Ambré 15 Ans d'Âge is a fortified sweet wine that has been patiently matured in an oxidative environment for a minimum of fifteen years. This extended ageing develops the famous rancio character, creating a wine of extraordinary complexity and depth.
Unlike many sweet wines that rely solely on fruit and sugar, Rivesaltes Ambré gains layers of nutty, caramelised and oxidative aromas through long ageing in old oak barrels. The result is a wine that combines richness, freshness and remarkable elegance. It remains one of France's most underrated wine treasures and offers exceptional value compared to similarly aged fortified wines.

Olivier's Thoughts
This is one of those wines that completely changes people's perception of sweet wine. If you've ever enjoyed an old Tawny Port, aged Madeira or even a mature Cognac, you'll immediately understand the appeal of Rivesaltes Ambré. The beauty lies in its complexity: walnuts, dried fruits, honey, orange peel and spice all layered together after years of patient ageing.
What I particularly love is serving this with Roquefort or a selection of dried fruits and nuts at the end of a meal. It becomes less of a wine and more of an experience. For me, Rivesaltes Ambré represents one of the greatest hidden gems of French wine and offers astonishing quality for its age and craftsmanship. A bottle to savour slowly and share with fellow wine lovers.
